Meet Chelsea
BIOGRAPHY
Chelsea was born and raised in Keller ISD, where she attended Keller ISD schools. Right after high school, she met her husband, and they've been married for 20 years. Her professional journey began at 20, managing a retail banking location, and she spent 12 years in the banking industry, holding roles such as Treasury Management Services, Corporate Banker, Assistant Banking Center Manager, and Banking Center Manager.

While in banking, she started a photography business, capturing weddings, corporate events, family portraits, senior sessions, newborn portraits, product images, and real estate. After retiring from banking to become a stay-at-home mom, she continued her photography career until COVID prompted her to focus on her children's schooling. This led her to volunteer with the PTA, engage in community politics, and serve in the Keller Council of PTA's election committee. After working in local board elections, Chelsea applied for the vacant board seat for Place 3 and was appointed in August after proceeding through the interview process.

Currently, Chelsea advocates for community involvement and continues to learn about district processes. Apart from her community work, Chelsea is a Wine Cellar Specialist where she designs and manages wine cellar projects around DFW.
VISION FOR KELLER ISD
Chelsea Kelly envisions a Keller ISD that prioritizes student well-being, academic achievement, and inclusive learning environments. As a passionate advocate for the community, Chelsea aims to bridge the gap between the community and the board by ensuring the community's voice is present in every conversation. She strives to add consistency across campuses within the ISD, making sure that every child receives the same experience and quality education, regardless of where the campus is located. With a focus on fostering innovation and embracing diversity, Chelsea is dedicated to cultivating a school district that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century.
